A graduate of the Royal Carillon School in Mechelen. In the summer of 2019 Alex Johnson was awarded first prize at the Queen Fabiola Carillon Competition in Mechelen, the most prestigious international event of its kind. He has played carillon extensively throughout the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia.
