Adrian Gebruers (Cathedral Carillonneur) at the Edward Bok Carillon Tower in Lake Wales (Florida) where he was guest recitalist at the International Carillon Festival in March 2022.   Earlier this year, he was unanimously elected an Honorary Life Member of The Carillon Society of Britain and Ireland in recognition of his services to the carillon art.
“Cobh Carillon Playing” deemed part of “Ireland’s Intangible Cultural Heritage”
On Thursday 18 July 2019 at a ceremony in Dublin, Josepha Madigan TD, Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, formally launched Ireland's National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage which includes “Cobh Carillon Playing”.
WCF 13th World Congress – Ireland 2002
The XIII World Carillon Federation Congress took place in Cobh and University College Cork from Sunday July 28 to Thursday August 1 2002, the first occasion this event was held in these islands
Eurocarillon 2003, Cobh, Co. Cork, Ireland.
The IX Eurocarillon Festival, which had as its theme “The Carillon and the Classics”, took place in Cobh from September 25 to 28, 2003. Taking part were carillonneurs Trevor Workman from England, Radek Rejsek from The Czech Republic
80 Years of Recitals
AS 2007 marked the 80th Anniversary of summer carillon recitals at St Colman's, the Cobh Carillon Committee marked the occasion with an enhanced programme of events.

Adrian Patrick Gebruers KSG
The present carillonneur is Adrian Patrick Gebruers. He received his initial training from his late father, Staf Gebruers, and subsequently studied in Mechelen, Belgium.
